Hello

My Name is Kevin Tame.

I created this site to show the world (you) my journey in life up to date.

Recently, I have become familiar with the idea that in order to maintain a competitive advantage a company must build and develop a highly diverse and qualified work force (Human Capital). This idea holds true up until a certain extent. I believe no matter how good a workforce is building solely on human capital will not create a long-term competitive advantage. Social Capital supported by human capital is what inevitably will create the necessary means to have a sustainable competitive advantage. The bonds of familiarly are the strongest part of any social phenomena. For example, the greatest lesson learned from Milgram’s shock box experiment is that the closer you are to an individual the less likely you are to hurt them. Imagine a work place where every individual was the top of the top (in qualifications), but had no social closeness to each other. I can imagine individuals would become vindictive toward one another and eventually a crab pot situation would occur. Companies need to remember Covey’s advice and enable employees to Think Win-Win.

I know that the human capital that I have built throughout the years is sufficient enough to compete in any work environment. However, I chose to build this site to show not only my skills and qualifications but my life as a husband of a beautiful and compassionate wife, father of a brillant little boy, friend to the most amazing people, collogue to the best of the best, and family member to some of my greatest heros.

Please feel free to peruse this site. My resume and portfolio sections show my qualifications and general work and management experience. My Blog contains some of my most recent findings, thoughts and experiences.
